Workshop Telecare Technologies

 
On 2 December a workshop on 'Telecare Technologies' - information and communication technologies that enable care at a distance- is being held in the Drienerburght, to discuss Professor Nelly Oudshoorn's (Department of Science, Technology and Policy Studies) recently released book 'Telecare Technologies and the Transformation of Healthcare'. The workshop starts at 1:15pm. After a brief summary by Oudshoorn of her main findings, various experts will voice their comments, including Professor Sally Wyatt (Royal Academy of Sciences) and Dr. Stans van Egmond (Rathenau Institute). The last part of the workshop is devoted to further discussion, including by means of audience participation.
